I’m Julie Dorman-Ogden — a qualified trainer, assessor, and one of Australia’s most respected professionals in the cat grooming industry.

With extensive hands-on experience and internationally recognised qualifications, I provide practical, real-world training designed to help cat groomers build confidence, refine their techniques, and successfully achieve certification.

As both a working groomer and educator, I understand the challenges groomers face when transitioning from theory to practical application. My training focuses on developing the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to work safely, efficiently, and professionally with cats of all breeds, coat types, and temperaments.

I am also the founder of You Had Me At Meow – Cat Grooming, a trusted Brisbane salon dedicated exclusively to premium feline grooming services.

Assessment Services

As an approved Australian Certified Cat Groomer (ACCG) Assessor, I offer practical assessments for groomers working towards certification.

Candidates have the flexibility to choose the pathway that best suits their needs and experience level. You may:

  • Complete training prior to undertaking your assessment
  • Book assessments independently without training
  • Complete one or more practical assessments at the conclusion of your training program

Practical training with me is not a requirement for ACCG Assessment, and candidates are welcome to book assessments as standalone services when they feel ready.
